He came to LA to improve his basketball skills into the next level by taking high-leveled training and playing against talented American players. Also, as Kei mentioned on his blog, US is his root to play basketball. After Kei graduated form junior high school, he had a chance to came to US for playing basketball. He was impressed from American players’ speed, strength, and skills that he had never experienced in Japan even though he was the point guard at the national champion team. This experience remains in his mind, and he finally came back to US in this summer.

In LA, Kei trained under Keion Kindred, who trains NBA players and other talented players in LA, and other great coaches including LA Loop’s assistant coach Leo Balayon.
