Early Sunday morning in Japan time, we heard a great news of Tokyo was selected to host the 2020 summer Olympic Games. Here is the Tokyo’s final presentation video at the conference.
You can see a Japanese professional basketball player, Keishiro “KEI” Tsutsumi was on this impressive video. Loop Sports Management, Inc. (Loop) managed him to be on that video. So, we are very proud that Tokyo won the selection!!
As you know, Loop has dedicated to help Japanese basketball players to improve their skills and to get opportunities to play in professional leagues in US. Narito “NARI” Namizato has joined a NBA D-League team, Texas Legends‘ training camp, and he is playing hard to show that he has enough skills and passion to play in the NBA D-League.
Loop also managed Kei’s training in LA in this summer. He came to LA to improve his basketball skills into the next level by taking high-leveled training and playing against talented American players. Also, as Kei mentioned on his blog, US is his root to play basketball. After Kei graduated form junior high school, he had a chance to came to US for playing basketball. He was impressed from American players’ speed, strength, and skills that he had never experienced in Japan even though he was the point guard at the national champion team. This experience remains in his mind, and he finally came back to US in this summer.
In LA, Kei trained under Keion Kindred, who trains NBA players and other talented players in LA, and other great coaches including LA Loop’s assistant coach Leo Balayon.
You can watch more video at Kei’s YouTube channel.
Also, he played at the Drew League as a player of LA Loop. He experienced to play against college players and professional players who play overseas.
Kei is currently looking for a team overseas. We hopefully he can find a right team! If you are interested in training in LA, please contact us.
