23-year-old Narito is the ace point guard at the Ryukyu Golden Kings in the bj League (a professional basketball league in Japan). His career in Japan is brilliant and he is said as the player who will be the next Japanese NBA player. When Narito was a freshman at the high school, he led the team to win the national championship and himself was chosen as the best 5 players. In the next year he was selected for the U-18 National basketball team.

After Narito graduated high school, he came to US for about a year to have a chance to play in the NCAA Division 1 team.

Since 2009, he had played at Link Tochigi Brex where a former NBA player Yuta Tabuse plays. In the 2011 season, he joined his hometown team, Ryukyu Golden Kings, and led the team to win the league championship in his first year at the team. In the last season, Narito played well and he was on the 2nd position at the assist ranking with the record of 6.2 assists per game.

In 2011, Narito and his team Ryukyu Golden Kings played at the 2011 ABA Marco Polo Cup Championship which was the exhibition games among the pro teams from China, Taiwan, and Japan. In that championship, Narito played against a NBA player Jeremy Lin. It was a well-matched and Narito showed he can play equally against the active NBA player.

Narito is talented in dribble skills and pass skills. He can also score points if needed. Playing with a well-experienced player Billy Knight and young energetic American players in LA Loop will be the great experience for Narito.

Also, since his ultimate goal is to be a NBA player, playing in the Drew League is the right place to show his skills. From July 1st, NBA players will be allowed to play in the Drew League. So, I am looking forward to see Narito will have a chance to play against the NBA players and other talented players!

Narito Namizato will be in LA next week. Please check him out!!
